Alternatively, you can book one of the Long Stay car parks near the Gatwick airport site and drive your car there on the day of your flight. The third option is to arrange the Maple Manor Meet and Greet package, in which an attendant will meet you at the departures terminal and take your car to be stored at a secured facility while you’re way, then delivered back to you when you arrive at the airport again after your return flight.

Breakfast is served in the hotel’s lounge and comprises tea and coffee, juices, pastries, cereals, and some freshly-cooked, hot English breakfast regular dishes. It’s served from 6am until 10am, so there’s plenty of time to grab a hearty start to the day no matter if your flight is early or late.

Dinner at the Harvester pub is the easy option for an evening meal. There’s an all-you-can-eat salad bar that’s included in the price of every meal, with the rest of the menu comprising grill dishes and the usual pub favourites. Options include pasta, chicken, scampi, burgers and steaks. Finish it all off with a delicious sundae – the perfect way to round off a pre-flight meal.

The Gatwick Holiday Inn Express is located in the centre of Crawley and not far from the main roads through the area.

To reach the hotel by car, exit the M23 at junction 10 and follow the A2011 (Crawley Avenue), which is signposted towards Crawley.
At the large roundabout, you’ll need to take the first exit onto Hazelwick Avenue. Then, follow the signs towards Three Bridges railway station and continue to the end of the road, passing Crawley Tennis Club.
Turn right onto Hazlett Avenue East at the traffic lights, passing Vines Garage on your left. You’ll find the hotel at the centre of the ‘squareabout’. There’s a one-way system which you’ll need to follow around the square to reach the hotel entrance.

If you’re arriving at the hotel by train, you can walk from Three Bridges station to the Holiday Inn Express Gatwick in around ten minutes. Turn left out of the station and walk straight up Haslett Avenue until you reach the hotel on the left hand side.

You can also reach the hotel by bus. The number 20 service operates between Gatwick airport’s South terminal and the hotel, and costs £1.80. Journey times might be a little longer during rush hour, so it’s best to plan ahead.

Taxi services are also available. A journey from the South terminal costs around £10.50 and takes approximately 12 minutes when the traffic is good, and to the North terminal it’ll cost around £8.50.
