Getting to and from Gatwick airport

Transfers to the Gatwick terminals operate by shuttle bus and the journey time is around 15 minutes. A return journey on the G4 bus costs £5 for adults and £2.50 for children. The shuttle bus calls at the entrance of the hotel every 45 minutes at peak times and every hour at other times.

The menu is deliciously British and the evening self-service carvery is something to be admired. The cosy Rafters Bar on the ground floor of the Europa hotel serves classic British dishes and snacks from noon to 10pm. The Rafters Bar is perfect for a late-night drink or evening snack before an early start the next morning. Dishes are priced at around £6 and are ideal for a light bite that will combat hunger but won't leave you uncomfortably full. The modern menu is an informal alternative to the restaurant's offerings.

Take junction 10 a from the M23 Southbound and then the second exit onto the B2036 Balcombe Road. This road is signposted Horley/Crawley.
After you cross the motorway bridge, continue for another 100m, until you see the hotel on the right. The Gatwick Britannia Lodge is approximately 5 miles from Gatwick airport.

The nearest train station is Three Bridges, which costs around £5 for a taxi transfer to the Britannia Lodge Gatwick. Alternatively, disembark the train at Gatwick airport and take the G4 shuttle bus from the terminal. A return fair costs £5 per adult and buses depart approximately every 45 minutes.
