Parking at the Corner House Hotel Gatwick is as straightforward as can be. There are 80 spaces to find a free space in, and you can choose to either leave your car at the hotel whilst you’re on holiday or store it in one of the Long Stay car parks at the Gatwick airport site. If you leave your car at the Corner House Hotel Gatwick, the brilliant private shuttle service will take you from the hotel to your terminal. The car park at the hotel is surrounded by high fences and monitored by CCTV, so you can holiday safe in the knowledge that your car is safe and secured, ready for your return.

Procedures

When you arrive at the hotel, find yourself a space in one of the hotels’ three car parks. There are two packages available for parking at the Corner House Hotel Gatwick: leave your car at the hotel, or leave your car in one of the Long Stay car parks at the Gatwick airport terminals. If you’re leaving your car at the Long Stay car parks, you can still park at the hotel for the night of your stay before you head to the airport the morning after.

Getting to and from Gatwick airport

When leaving your car at the hotel whilst you go on holiday, the Corner House Hotel Gatwick operates its own private shuttle bus service to the Gatwick airport terminals. You can catch a lift between 6am and midnight every day, and the service is free to all guests of the hotel.

Over-stay charges

Each extra day of parking, on top of the parking period already paid for, costs £4. Get in touch with the hotel if you need to book any last-minute extra days.

Dining and drinking at the Gatwick Corner House Hotel

The Corner House Hotel Gatwick makes sure that guests are always full, thanks to the array of home-cooked meals that are guaranteed to make mouths water. Hotel owner Chris is a trained chef, cooking a range of favourite British dishes that are served from 6.30pm to 9.30pm. The meals are lovingly prepared and service is fast and friendly, so grabbing a bite to eat before you fly becomes more of a pleasure than a necessity. There are also lighter bites such as sandwiches, soups and salads available from the bar or restaurant from 11am to 10.30pm.

Start with a hearty English breakfast, which is served from 7am until 9am. If you’re leaving early, then a Continental breakfast is also available from the early hours until 11am – perfect for those who want something a little lighter to munch on before they catch their flight. For dinner, there’s a veritable feast of comforting offerings: from lasagne to lamb chops, pies, sausage and mash, fish and chips and much more. Finish the meal with a delectable desert, such as apple pie, ice cream and chocolate fudge cake.

The Corner House Hotel Gatwick is easy to find, mainly because it’s so close to the Gatwick airport terminals.

When you’re arriving by car, leave the M23 at junction 9 and follow the signs towards Gatwick airport.
Go straight over at the first roundabout and stay on the A23, passing the South terminal.
Stay on the A23 as you take the fourth exit at the second roundabout, passing the North terminal.
Take the third exit at the third roundabout and Massetts Road is the second right turning, just past a petrol station. On the junction corner, you’ll see the Corner House Hotel Gatwick, with the entrance to the car park on the left.

The hotel provides a free shuttle service for guests from local public transport hubs to the Corner House Hotel Gatwick. If you’re arriving by rail to Horley rail station or the station at the Gatwick airport South terminal, either use the free telephones outside the airport or call the hotel on 01293 784574 to arrange a pick up.

You can also take a taxi to the hotel, which costs around £6 for a one-way journey. If you arrive between midnight and 6am, you’ll definitely need to order a taxi, as the shuttle service to the hotel doesn’t operate between these hours.
