It became a 10 room hotel in 1952, and has expanded since then to the current tally of 35 guest rooms. The Cambridge is a conveniently placed 3-star Gatwick airport hotel, located close to the M23 and only 3 and a half miles from the airport terminals.

Parking at the Gatwick Cambridge Hotel

If you choose a parking package at the Cambridge Gatwick Hotel, you will leave your car at the hotel for the duration of your trip, to be collected when you return from the airport. The hotel has a gated compound for guests' vehicles, which is closed and locked at night. Cars do not leave the hotel premises.

Procedures

Simply leave your car in the Gatwick Cambridge Hotel car park when you arrive, and check in straight away. Staff at the hotel will take your keys and park your car at a secure car park nearby. They will return your car to the hotel's Short Stay car park on the day of your return..

When you return, contact the hotel on 01293 783990 and they'll arrange for the shuttle bus to collect you from directly outside the terminal. You will then be brought back to the Cambridge Gatwick Hotel to collect your car.

Getting to and from Gatwick airport

The shuttle bus to and from the Gatwick Cambridge Hotel is in operation 24 hours a day, and can be called on request no matter what time you need to leave. From the time you call for the shuttle bus, it can transport you to the airport in as little as 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. The trip from the hotel to the airport costs just £3, and your return journey is free.

Should you need additional days of parking, these are to be paid locally to the hotel at a rate of £4 per day.

Located a short distance from the M23, the Gatwick Cambridge Hotel is conveniently placed on an A road and is easy to spot as you approach.

  • Exit the M23 at junction 9 and follow signs for Gatwick airport.
  • At the first roundabout, go straight ahead. At the following roundabout, take the last exit towards the A23.
  • At the next roundabout, turn right, following the signpost for Redhill A23.
  • At the large interchange with a Shell garage, continue to follow the signs for Redhill A23.
  • After a few hundred yards, you will see the Cambridge hotel on your left-hand-side.

The nearest rail stations to the Gatwick Cambridge Hotel are Horley and Salfords (Surrey). The hotel is also close to bus stops on the A23, serving several routes in the local area.
