The sublime setting is away from the main roads surrounding the airport, but the Gatwick Little Foxes is still accessible and only a brief taxi ride from the airport. Enjoy the secluded environment or relax in your room to watch some TV. There’s also space to watch some television and unwind in the hotel’s little lounge, which is more reminiscent of your own front room than an impersonal hotel seating area.

Parking at the Gatwick Little Foxes

Parking at the Little Foxes Gatwick is straight-forward – simply leave your car in the hotel’s secured car park while you’re away, and collect it from the hotel when you return from your holiday. The car park is adjoined to the hotel and safely secured.

Alternatively, you can choose to leave your car in the Airparks Gatwick facility that’s not too far away from the hotel. With free parking at the Little Foxes during your overnight stay, you can then drive to the Airparks Gatwick car park before your flight, leave your car there and take a shuttle bus to the airport. The bus leaves every 20 minutes and is included in the price of your parking package.

Procedures

Find a space in the car park when you arrive at the hotel and hand over your keys to reception when you check-in. Your vehicle will remain in the car park for the duration of your holiday, but may be moved to the nearby Gatwick Ifield Court Hotel (owned by the same family as the Little Foxes Gatwick) if you’re returning to pick up your car out of hours.

Getting to and from Gatwick airport

The hotel will book a taxi for you from the hotel to the airport on the day of your flight, costing £10. The hotel’s secluded location means that it’s around a 15-minute drive from the hotel, so make sure to leave plenty of time before you catch your flight.

Dining and drinking at the Gatwick Little Foxes

The quaint restaurant at the Little Foxes Gatwick is certainly unlike the larger eateries available at the big-name hotels. This is a more intimate affair, with wooden tables and chairs alongside homely crockery that will have you feeling welcome from the moment you sit down to eat. Although the hotel dining room serves breakfast, it’s the restaurant at the adjacent Ifield Court Hotel that’s the place to visit for a satisfying dinner - you’ll receive a 10% discount for being a guest at the Gatwick Little Foxes. Alternatively, the Royal Oak pub in Ifield Green is just under a mile away and serves dishes for both lunch and dinner.

The breakfast buffet is available from an impressive 2am, which is perfect if you’re catching an early flight. Don’t worry if you don’t see anything you like – the friendly staff will be happy to whip something up for you, provided they have all the ingredients! Enjoy your delicious breakfast while you marvel at the hotel’s gardens through the French doors.

The Gatwick Little Foxes is around 15 minutes from the M23 and is far enough away from the airport to give you a restful stay, without being inaccessible.

If you’re using a sat nav, be aware that the Ifield Court Hotel Gatwick shares the same postcode as the Gatwick Little Foxes. If you find the Ifield Court Hotel Gatwick, just drive past the entrance and the next entrance you come to will be to the Gatwick Little Foxes.

  • To drive to the hotel, leave the M23 at junction 10 and follow the A2011 (Crawley Avenue) across the first two roundabouts.
  • At the third roundabout, turn right into Ifield Avenue and continue along this road until it becomes Charlwood Road, crossing the three roundabouts on the way.
  • Follow Charlwood Road past the bus stop and past the entrance to the Ifield Court Hotel Gatwick. The entrance to the Little Foxes Gatwick is the next turning on the left.

If you’re travelling by train, arrive at Ifield railway station which is around 2 miles from the hotel. From there you can take a taxi to the Little Foxes Gatwick for around £5. If you’re arriving at the train station at Gatwick airport, a taxi will cost around £10.
