Features at the Gatwick Stanhill Court

The gorgeous Stanhill Court Gatwick is guaranteed to give you an airport hotel experience that you won’t forget. It’s a popular place for couples and adult parties to stay before you catch your flight. Built in 1881 for a Scottish landowner, the hotel has a real air of antique charm and exquisite detail. Don’t be put off by all the grandeur, though – the Gatwick Stanhill Court is still warm and cosy, with wood panelling and colourful details that make you feel at home from the moment you step foot inside.

The grounds of the hotel are particularly breathtaking. Set in 32 acres of garden and a further three acres of forest, there’s no better way to spend a relaxing afternoon before your flight than taking a stroll through the hotel grounds. It’s close to the hotel, too – just ten minutes from the Gatwick terminals, but far enough away to avoid the disruption of aeroplanes soaring overhead.

After you’ve taken a stroll in the gardens, head to the Restaurant 1881, where you’ll receive an excellent service that’ll have you feeling as though you’re in one of the finest restaurants in London. Tuck in to a lovingly-prepared dish that’s sure to amaze you, then head to the Patio Bar for a drink before you head off to bed in your charming and characterful bedroom. The rooms have everything you need for a straightforward stay; there’s a flatscreen TV and free Wi-Fi, so you’ll stay entertained and informed while you unwind.
