Don’t worry about any city-centre noise though – the soundproof windows ensure that your night’s sleep is as restful and rejuvenating as it needs to be before you jet off abroad.

Unless you’ve arranged otherwise with the hotel, the earliest check in time is from 2pm and you’ll need to check out by 10am.

Parking at the Gatwick Arora

It’s easy to book your parking when arranging your stay at the Arora Gatwick. There are two options available: the Long Stay car park or the Maple Manor Meet and Greet service. You can drop your car at the Long Stay parking facility when you arrive at the airport and make your way to the hotel, which is not very far away by taxi. You could also can leave the car at the hotel overnight for £10, and then drive to the Long Stay car park before your flight the next morning. Alternatively, the Maple Manor service picks up your car when you arrive and then delivers it back to you when you’re back from your holiday.

Procedures

Upon arrival, you can use the hotel car park for one hour for free, in order to unload passengers and luggage. You will then need to move the car to the Long Stay car park and make your way back to the hotel afterwards. Alternatively, you can leave your car at the hotel overnight for a fee and then take it to the Long Stay car park before you fly. If you’ve purchased the Maple Manor Meet and Greet option, then an attendant will meet you when you arrive at the hotel and will take your car for you, they’ll then deliver it back to the terminal to meet you when you arrive back from your holiday.

Getting to and from Gatwick airport

Taxis run between the hotel and the airport, and the hotel is so accessible from the railway station at Crawley that the train to or from the airport may be the easiest option.

Over-stay charges

Extra parking days should be arranged at either the Long Stay car park when you make your booking, or with the Maple Manor service directly. The Maple Manor parking facility charges £10 for every extra day, but it’s best to call them for a quote.

Dining and drinking at the Gatwick Arora

Galluci Restaurant

There’s plenty to please all tastes when it comes to dining at the Arora Gatwick. The Galluci restaurant is best suited to sophisticated lunches and dinners. Breakfast is served at Gallucci between 6am and 11am, with both English and Continental options available. Breakfast at Galluci includes a hot and cold buffet featuring bacon, sausages, eggs and mushrooms alongside cereal, pastries and fresh fruit. Coffee and juice are available to wash it all down with. For both lunch and dinner, Gallucci’s a la carte menu includes largely Italian options as designed by eponymous chef Omero Gallucci. Dishes include risotto, pizza, meat and fish options, steak and a delicious dessert to top it all off.

Palm Deli

The Palm Deli offers simple (but delicious) sandwiches and pizzas and an amazing 24-hour service.

Mogan's Pub

For a relaxed chat over a hearty meal, Morgan’s Pub is the answer – there’s plenty of beer to drink, and great pub favourites that everyone in the family will want to devour.

Directions to the Arora Gatwick

The Gatwick Arora is so close to the train station at Crawley, it even has its own gate from the platform! For rail travellers who don’t want to buy additional fares in buses and taxis, this is definitely the hotel for you.

  • If you’re arriving by car, take the junction 10 exit from the M23 onto Crawley Avenue (A2011), which is signposted towards Crawley.
  • Then take the second exit at the next roundabout, onto the A2004 towards Northgate Avenue.
  • Take the first exit at the next roundabout, onto College Road, and continue to Southgate Avenue at the junction with Station Way. The Arora Gatwick is on your right and is the first turning after the junction.
  • The car park is underground and is accessed by turning into the right turning lane to enter.

The hotel can be easily accessed directly from the Crawley train station platform. Trains regularly run between the station and London Victoria.

The rooms at the Gatwick Arora are all easy to reach, with the rooms from number 73 accessible from the West Wing of the complex via a covered walkway. The décor of the rooms is stylish and impressive, with all effort made to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There’s everything you need to relax and entertain yourself, as well as an en-suite bathroom. Some of the windows even look out over the central atrium, so you’ll be able to check out the hustle and bustle of the Palm Deli down below.
