Check-in times

You can check in to the Cresta Court Manchester from 2pm, and you must check out by midday on the day of your flight. If you need to arrive earlier or depart a little later, alternative arrangements can be made with the hotel.

Parking at the Manchester Cresta Court

Although it’s not located on the Manchester airport site, the Cresta Court Manchester is easily accessible from the airport vicinity. Your car can stay in the hotel overnight, and then transfer to the airport car park for the duration of your holiday.

Procedures

When you arrive at the Cresta Court Manchester, take your car to the hotel car park and find a space before proceeding to the check-in desk. On the day of your flight, you will need to take your car to the Long Stay parking facilities at Manchester airport, where you then take a transfer to the departures hall. At the barrier to airport car park facility, you should scan the barcode on your booking confirmation to activate the security gate. If this doesn’t work, press the buzzer to speak to a member of staff.

Once you’re back from your holiday, you’ll be transferred back to the car park facilities to pick up your vehicle.

Getting to and from Manchester airport

It doesn’t take long to drive to the Manchester airport site from the Manchester Cresta Court, and once you’ve parked you vehicle the departures hall are just a five-minute shuttle bus ride away. The bus service departs every 15 minutes both day and night.

Dining options at the Manchester Cresta Court include the great range on offer at Dettori’s restaurant. Breakfast is available at Dettori’s, served from 5.30am onwards. You can enjoy all the usual breakfast favourites in the Manchester Cresta Court’s comprehensive buffet, all ready to set you up for the day ahead.

The breakfast buffet includes a wide range of cereals, yoghurts and fruits alongside all the components of a traditional English breakfast – bacon, hash browns, mushrooms, baked beans, grilled tomatoes, and eggs either boiled, poached or scrambled. For dinner, Dettori’s served meals including fish and chips, pastas, steaks, freshly-baked pizzas and sprawling mixed grills. Children will be kept happy with the kid’s menu, whilst more refined diners can select from the a la carte menu.

Townfields Bar

At the Townfields Bar, you find a relaxed atmosphere where you can select from a menu of lighter bites that perfectly complement a cup of coffee or soft drink.

Directions to the Cresta Court Manchester

Directions from

The Manchester Cresta Court is located a few miles from the airport site, in the village of Altrincham. It’s a short distance from the Altrincham railway station, so it’s easy to arrive by both road and rail.

Exit the M56 at junction 7 and take the third right off the roundabout, joining the A56. If you’re approaching from the M6, exit J19 and follow the A556 until you reach the M56 roundabout.
Continue through to Altrincham and at the third set of lights, after which you’ll see the hotel on the right.
If you’re approaching from the M60 from the southbound direction, you’ll need to exit at junction 8 or 7. Turn right at the traffic lights onto the A56, and continue for around four miles until you see the hotel on the left.
Alternatively, to approach from the northbound direction you should exit at junction 7 and then turn left at the traffic lights, onto the A56. After four miles, you should see the hotel on the left.
