Parking at the Manchester Britannia Country House

Since it’s not restricted to the airport site, the Manchester Britannia Country House makes use of its outside space by providing plenty of room for parking. Whilst you’re away, your car will remain in either the hotel’s car park or a nearby parking facility used by the hotel, meaning you can enjoy your stay at the Britannia Country House Manchester without worrying about needing to wake up early to catch your flight.

Procedures

When you arrive at the Britannia Country House Manchester, simply find a parking spot in the hotel car park and proceed to check in. The hotel should confirm whether you’ll be parking at the hotel or at a nearby parking facility. You’ll then leave your car at the hotel for the duration of your trip.

The Manchester Britannia Country House runs transfers between the hotel and the airport 24 hours a day. The shuttle runs approximately every 45 minutes. Once you’ve returned from your holiday and landed back at the airport, you can catch the transfer bus again back to the hotel to collect your car.

Directions from

Located in the village of Didsbury, the Manchester Britannia Country House is easy to find and accessible from the M60 motorway. It’s also located conveniently near other transport hubs, including a National Rail station.

From the M56, follow the signs for the city centre onto the A5103. Take the B5166 exit, just after junction 3A, and at the traffic lights turn right into Palatine Road. After a mile, you’ll see the hotel on the left hand side.
If you’re approaching from the M60 clockwise (on the ring road East), take the A5103 (junction 5) and turn right at the first set of traffic lights onto the A5145. Turn right again at the next traffic lights into Palatine Road – after a half-mile, you’ll see the hotel on the right hand side.
If you’re approaching from the M60 anticlockwise (on the ring road West) on the junction 5 exit road, stay in the left hand lane and follow the B5166. Turn left into Palatine Road when you reach the traffic lights, and the hotel is around a mile down the road on the left hand side.

The Britannia Country House Manchester is situated within reach of the East Didsbury National Rail station, from which taxis can be arranged to reach the hotel. You can also arrive by coach or train to Manchester Airport, from where you can catch the transfer bus to the hotel.
