Check-in times

Check in is from 2pm and check-out is by noon.

Parking at the Stansted Premier Inn

As the Premier Inn at Stansted is so close to the long stay car park, you can choose a room and parking package when you book. Whilst you’re staying at the hotel, your car can remain on site, and all you have to do is make the short drive to the official car park when you’ve checked out in the morning. Your car will then be completely secure until you get back, as the car park has CCTV coverage and regular patrols.

Procedures

When you book your room and parking, make sure to give your registration number, as the car park uses automatic number plate recognition to validate your parking. On your arrival at the hotel, just park up and check in.

On the day of your flight, check out and take your car over to the long stay car park. The entry barrier will lift automatically when it recognises your number plate, and it’ll provide a ticket with your booking reference that you need to keep hold of. Park up in any available space, and make your way to the bus stop to catch the shuttle. Disabled drivers can use one of the 130 Blue Bay spaces in Zone Q.

When you get back, simply hop on the shuttle back to the car park and drive home. Put the ticket with your booking reference in at the electronic barrier when you exit, and it’ll lift automatically. Extra days of parking will be charged at the car park, at the drive-up price of £15 per day or part thereof.

Getting to and from Stansted airport

A frequent shuttle bus runs between the long stay car park and the airport terminal. It’s the ideal option – 24-hour trips, completely free of charge, and it only takes 10-15 minutes each way. The bus leaves both the car park and the terminal roughly every 20 minutes, so you’ll have plenty of time to make your flight.

Dining and drinking at the Stansted Premier Inn

The Thyme restaurant on site at the hotel offers breakfast and dinner, with smaller dishes and nibbles on offer at the bar throughout the day. A kids menu is available for younger diners, providing smaller portions and some more traditional favourites to suit mini foodies – and parents will appreciate the restaurant’s family-friendly pricing, too.

Head downstairs for breakfast at the restaurant from 6am, and make sure you’ve had your fill before it finishes at 10.30am. Dinner is served until 10pm, giving everyone ample chance to dine, and the bar is open late for guests who fancy a nightcap before bed.

Menu

Morning diners have the choice of a full English or Continental breakfast first thing, with Costa tea and coffee to go with your scrambled eggs or fresh fruit and yoghurt. The dinner menu is packed with traditional favourites and much-loved meals – pizza, pasta, burgers and steaks, to name just a few. If you’re in the mood for a light snack, the bar provides sandwiches and paninis alongside a full range of wines, spirits and soft drinks.
