When you walk into the stylishly decorated lobby at the Renaissance Heathrow hotel, you’ll instantly notice the feature pillars and open plan reception area – giving the lobby a spacious yet structured feel with a hint of 1970’s style. Check-in times

At the Renaissance Heathrow, you can check in from 3pm onwards. On your date of departure, please ensure that you check out by midday. If you need to make alternative arrangements, you must confirm this with the hotel before you arrive. Early check-in is available; this is charged at £25 for a single room and £35 for a double room.

Parking at the Heathrow Renaissance

The Heathrow Renaissance offers on-site parking and it is on the Heathrow Hoppa bus route so it's easy getting to and from the airport terminals. If you make a large group booking, there is no charge for coach parking – please double-check this with the hotel before making a booking. There are seven reserved parking bays for disabled guests, making it easier to get in and out of your vehicle if you need more access.

Procedures

When you arrive at the hotel, just turn up, park up, and check in – that’s all you need to do. You must provide a photo ID when you check in at reception. You can leave your car at the Renaissance Heathrow when you check out. On your return, come back to the hotel to collect your vehicle. If you require any extra days’ parking at the Renaissance Heathrow, these will be charged at their daily rate, and this is payable directly to the hotel.

Getting to and from Heathrow airport

The Heathrow Hoppa buses operate services between the hotel and all airport terminals. To get to and from Terminals 1 and 3, you will need to catch the H2 bus, which runs between 4.30am and 11.36pm. The H54 provides transfers to and from Terminals 4 and 5, operating from 4.36am until 11.36pm for Terminal 4 and between 4.47am and 11.47pm for Terminal 5.

Transfer charges

The Hoppa bus runs roughly every 30 minutes, and a one-way ticket costs £4 per adult and 50p per child.

Dining and drinking at the Heathrow Renaissance

DUO Restaurant

The international feel of the hotel’s DUO restaurant is evident at every meal, with a huge choice at breakfast and a wide variety of dishes on the dinner menu. Breakfast is served from 6am until 10am, and dinner is available from 6am until 10pm.

DUO’s breakfast menu is one of the most varied and large offered by any Heathrow hotel. As well as Continental and full English breakfast options, you can also choose grilled kippers, waffles, an omelette, or even a steak and eggs. Continental breakfast is £16.50, and a full English breakfast is £19.50. If you’d prefer a lighter meal, waffles and pancakes are both £8.

A three-course buffet lunch is available at the Heathrow Renaissance for £18. It’s available from 12.30pm until 2.30pm on weekdays, offering a selection of starters, main courses and desserts.

When it’s time for dinner, you’re truly spoilt for choice, with a wide range of regional and international dishes vying for your attention on the menu. Expect to pay from £7 for a starter and £14.50 for a main course. Desserts are all £6, so you can feel a little less guilty about sampling the Bailey’s crème brulee. The restaurant also provides a menu of main courses and desserts for children – kids will want to test the Chicken Crunch’s crunchiness, and at £7, parents won’t mind letting them try!

DUO Bar

When you’re in the mood for a drink or two, the DUO bar is situated within the hotel for convenience and privacy – you can stay for a quiet drink, or grab a nightcap and head straight to bed. It also does bar food during the day, and often keeps serving snacks past midnight.

The drinks list at the DUO bar is a great mix of standard favourites and more refined spirits, with a great choice of whisky on offer and an extremely good wine list. You will also find plenty of soft drinks and fresh juices available. For £9.50, you can try one of DUO’s delicious cocktails – nothing beats a nice cold mojito.

Room service

In-room dining is also an option at the Renaissance Heathrow, allowing you to choose any dish from DUO’s menu and have it delivered to your room – an especially useful service for guests who’ve missed a sitting at the restaurant, as food is available via room service from 6am until midnight. It’s also useful if you would like a little more privacy at any meal.

Starbucks

You’ll find a branch of Starbucks on-site at the front of the hotel, providing their full range of caffeinated drinks, fruit blends and snacks. It’s open for breakfast, so you can pick up a quick coffee if you’ve got an early flight.

It’s easy to get to the Heathrow Renaissance by car or public transport, and the hotel is close to both the airport and the M4 for connections across the country.

  • If you’re arriving at the hotel by car, exit the M4 at junction 4 and follow signs for Heathrow.
  • Take the airport access road, following signs for Terminal 4 and other areas.
  • At the roundabout, take the second exit (signposted ‘other areas’).
  • At the next roundabout (the ‘Nene Road’ roundabout), take the second exit, which is signposted for the Renaissance Heathrow hotel.

To reach the Renaissance Heathrow via public transport, the nearest London Underground station is at the airport – Heathrow Terminals 1-3. You can catch the Hoppa transfer bus from the airport to the hotel. If you’re going in the other direction, the station is served by the Piccadilly line, providing links to central London and national rail services.
